Bye Mrs. Hunt!

Our beloved Mrs. Hunt will no longer be working at our school as of next year. I hope you all get a chance to say good-bye! Also, if you have time, you can attend Mrs. Hunt's farewell tea.
I am sorry that I haven't written here in months. I have been busy with homework, etc. and never has time to write in here. I will try to post things for the next week (until the end of school), and since I will be moving onto high school, I will not be able to post any thing more after the last day of school. Thanks for understanding!

Speech Fest

Speech Fest is on it's way. This is a time where most grades speak in front of the class. The class will then vote on who should advance to the school's speech competition. Then, after the judges discuss among themselves, a winner will be chosen and the will advance to the district's Speech Fest. It's a pretty hard time for most people because of some students stage fright. Unfortunately, all the students who are in one of the classes that are participating have to give a speech in their class's Speech Fest. That is, of course, if they have an extremely good reason such as, they can't speak English. Speech Fest takes place after Spring Break. The criteria lies in the possession of your teacher. For intermidiate students, your speech has to be 4-5 minutes long, that's about 6 pages worth of writing (page one is the front of the paper, page two is the back). So, you might want to start thinking about, at least, your topic.

Spring Time!

After the fun in the snow and those cold, chilly days that feels like every part of your body is getting frostbite, Spring is coming soon! The days haven't been chilly, even on this one Saturday, it felt like late Spring. Spring is full of the adorable little baby animals, beautiful warm sunlight, and yes, Spring break. This year, it will be a whole two weeks starting at dismissal on March 9th. That gives us some more time to have fun and do "break homework" if you have any, that is.

Long Time No See

It's been awhile hasn't it? I'm sorry that I haven't written in a long period of time, but I've just been busy with homework and family things! Anyway, I'll try a little harder to wright in this blog.

Christmas Countdown

TEN DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!

Christmas Assembly

The Christmas Assembly occured today. One of the four jazz bands from Mountain Secondary. After that stupendous (good word isn't it) concert, the chior sang three songs and the last one was the song that the Count from Sesame Street sings (they told us). Some Band 7 students helped cleaned up while Mrs. Lenko led a sing-along. She called up two students to help lead the songs, which just happened to be my friend Jaylen and me. That pretty much concludes the whole assembly.

10 Days Until Christmas

Time to get riled up! Christmas is only 10 days away and the Holidays are 2 days away! I know I haven't been writing quite as much but I will write until the end of the week and then I will go on my holidays. Over the holidays I will only be doing a Christmas count-down. On to other business, we are all encouraged to wear red and green, or a Santa hat, on Thursday and Friday. Now start Christmas shopping! Christmas is getting closer even as you read this!
